iGovTT Chairman and CEO participate in the Commonwealth Telecommunication Organisation Forum hosted in Trinidad and Tobago
  
Port-of-Spain, Trinidad – 14 Sept, 2011: The 9th Annual Commonwealth Telecommunication Organisation (CTO) Forum -Towards a Digital Commonwealth was held at the Trinidad Hilton from Monday 12th to Wednesday 14th September.  The theme for this year’s forum was “Broadband for the Networked Society”.  Key topics included: National broadband plans; Broadband technologies and networks; Financing broadband networks; m-Contents and cloud platform; Data Centers for broadband and Social Media.

iGovTT, Ministry of Education completed eCAL laptop distribution 

 

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad – 13 Oct, 2011: The distribution of 16,886 laptops to secondary schools was completed on Wednesday 12th October 2011), three weeks after the first consignment arrived in Trinidad and Tobago. The distribution was completed on schedule.

Negotiations Completed: Representatives from iGovTT and Memory Bank Computers following the signing of documents related to the eConnect and Learn (eCAL) Student Laptop Programme.
